GAC Aion sets Nov. 12 market launch for Ray 7 electric sedan

GAC Aion will launch the Ray 7 sedan on Nov. 12 after opening pre-sales on Oct. 17, CarNewsChina reported. The car uses a Huawei DriveONE electric drive and lithium iron phosphate batteries, with CATL cells in the 702 km CLTC version and GAC's own Inpow cells in the 530 km version. Its driver assistance system includes a Huawei 192-line lidar. GAC Aion also reported October sales of 42,357 vehicles, up 56.79% from a year earlier.
