LG Energy Solution grows revenue 27.6% on quarter as storage shipments climb

LG Energy Solution said consolidated revenue reached 9.6 trillion won in the third quarter of 2026, including a North American production incentive of 416.9 billion won. Growth came mainly from energy storage systems, along with more high-voltage mid-nickel pouch cells and 21- and 46-Series cylindrical cells for EVs, the company said. It plans to start U.S. production of 46-Series cylindrical cells by the end of 2026 and to lift North American cylindrical capacity to more than 20 GWh by end-2027. Its joint venture plant with GM in North America has also restarted, according to the company.
