GWM's new energy vehicle sales rise 7.25% in October, overseas sales up 9.98%

GWM said new energy vehicle sales rose 7.25% from a year earlier in October, without giving a unit figure. Total sales came to 120,374 vehicles, with 62,862 sold overseas, up 9.98%. The company said it will bring at least 10 new and derivative models to Europe over the next two years. Its plant in Bulgaria should be renovated by the end of 2026, with a yearly capacity of 50,000 vehicles, and the ORA 5 is expected to be the first model built there, during the first quarter of 2027.
