Ferrari has allocated all of the Luce electric cars it plans to sell in 2027, CEO Benedetto Vigna said while presenting third-quarter results, according to Teslarati.
Vigna said client test drives next year should lift demand further and reported no critical problems in manufacturing or demand. He said its many new parts and technologies add complexity.
The order book follows sharp criticism of the design after the car's unveiling in Rome in May. Ferrari shares fell about 8% in one day, Teslarati said.
The four-door Luce has four motors with about 1,035 horsepower, a 122 kWh battery and about 329 miles of claimed WLTP range. It starts near 550,000 euros in Europe.
By 2030, Ferrari wants battery-electric cars to make up 20% of its lineup, Teslarati said. Its second EV has slipped to 2028.
